About Cerys
Psychotherapist, Yoga and Meditation Teacher
About Me
Curiosity has been a companion of mine for as long as I can remember and is what has led me to becoming a therapist, supervisor and yoga teacher. Over the years, I’ve come to believe that healing rarely comes from having all the answers. More often, it begins when we feel safe enough to become curious about ourselves with kindness, and brave enough to be vulnerable.

My Approach
My work is grounded in mindfulness and an appreciation of the deep connection between mind and body. I understand that stress, anxiety, and trauma are experienced not only in our thoughts, but also in our bodies. Learning to reconnect with ourselves gently and safely can become an important part of the healing journey.
No two people experience life in the same way, so I don’t believe therapy, supervision, meditation, or yoga should ever be a one-size-fits-all process. Instead, we’ll work together to find an approach that feels right for you, at a pace that feels supportive and manageable.
What I’ve Learned
Throughout my work, I’ve seen how understanding the nervous system can help people make sense of their experiences with patience, and self-compassion.
I’ve also learned that curiosity can be one of the greatest acts of self-compassion. When we begin to wonder about ourselves rather than judge ourselves, something starts to shift. There is an opportunity to create space for understanding, acceptance, and the possibility of change.

Outside the Therapy Room
Outside the therapy room, you’ll usually find me outdoors, running or walking along the beautiful coastline of North Wales, practising yoga, or exploring different creative pursuits. These aren’t simply hobbies, they are ways I stay connected, present, and grounded. Time in nature continually reminds me that growth isn’t rushed.
A Few Words That Inspire Me
“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and freedom.”
Viktor E. Frankl
If You’re Thinking About Reaching Out
Finding the right therapist, supervisor, or yoga teacher is a deeply personal decision. It’s about finding someone you feel comfortable with, where you can feel heard, understood, and able to be yourself. If something in these words has resonated with you, perhaps that’s a place to begin.
