Counselling & Psychotherapy

In Person, Online or by Telephone Sessions

Develop a Kinder Relationship with Yourself

You might be looking for somewhere to talk honestly about what is going on — without having to hold everything together, minimise what you feel, or have the right words straight away.

As an integrative and trauma-sensitive practitioner, I do not believe that one way of working fits everyone. This means we can shape the therapy around you — your experiences, needs, hopes, pace, boundaries, and the way you make sense of the world.

People come to therapy for many different reasons. You may be feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed, stuck, burnt out, or unsure how to manage a particular situation. You may be experiencing grief, relationship difficulties, stress, trauma, loss, low self-esteem, or a sense that old patterns are getting in the way of living more fully. Therapy can also be a place for personal growth, reflection, and developing a kinder relationship with yourself.

I work with the whole person — not just thoughts and feelings, but also the body, the nervous system, relationships, past experiences, and the wider context of your life. Mindfulness may also be woven into the work, helping you slow down, notice what is present, and relate to yourself with more awareness and compassion. Mindfulness is a way of pausing, noticing, and meeting your experience without judgement. It can help you become more grounded, recognise patterns, and respond to yourself and life instead of reacting to yourself and life.

Choose the Session Format That Works Best for You

I offer sessions both in person and online or telephone, giving you the option to choose the format that feels most accessible and supportive. For some people, meeting online offers flexibility and comfort; for others, being together in the same room feels more grounding.

I also offer ecotherapy, which involves taking therapeutic work outdoors and connecting with the natural environment as part of the process. This can support reflection, grounding, and a different way of relating to yourself, your experiences, and the world around you. Ecotherapy can be particularly helpful for those who feel supported by being in nature or who are interested in exploring the relationship between wellbeing and the natural world.

Therapy does not have to be about having all the answers. Sometimes it begins with making space for what has been difficult to name and gently exploring what might help you feel more grounded, connected, and able to make choices that reflect your needs and values.

I value working gently and honestly, with respect for your pace and your own inner wisdom. My intention is to offer a grounded, compassionate relationship where you can be met as you are, rather than feeling you need to arrive with everything already worked out.

If you are unsure whether counselling or psychotherapy is right for you, you are welcome to get in touch to arrange an initial conversation. We can talk about what you are looking for and whether working together feels like a good fit.

My work brings together talking therapy, body-based awareness, meditation, and connection with nature, offering a grounded and compassionate space for reflection, healing, and growth.
